David Williamson is the Assistant Vice Principal for Teaching and Learning at Sirius Academy North in Hull. David’s previous role was the Director of Teaching and Learning at Sirius Academy which has been recently awarded ‘Outstanding’ across all categories by Ofsted. David has over 10 years teaching experience, initially as an Key stage 4/5 PE Coordinator and more recently as Director of Teaching and Learning at Sirius and AVP at Thomas Ferens. He has a wealth of experience in Teaching and Learning, including processes of quality assurance such as lesson observation, lesson planning, work scrutiny. He leads the Teaching and Learning Group which develop action research on new and innovative teaching and learning strategies and the weekly lunch CPD programme. David has a repertoire of transferable skills to significantly improve the practice of others. David delivers highly effective CPD and leads on the ‘coaching and mentoring programme’ for all teaching and support staff. This programme has been pivotal in developing the potential of all colleagues. David has coordinated the use of IRIS Connect within both Academies to significantly enhance the quality of teaching and learning in a supportive manor. David is also Level 3 TEEP trained and is therefore able to deliver the TEEP way of teaching to your staff.
Teshea Brigden is the Leader of Literacy and English teacher at Sirius Academy in Hull, a school that was recently awarded ‘Outstanding’ status. Teshea has undertaken various roles all targeted at the educational improvement of students, working as a Raising Attainment Advisor in both the Doncaster and North Lincolnshire local authority and has over 17 years teaching experience. Throughout her time at Sirius, Teshea has enacted significant change with a view to promote and enhance literacy provision, this has resulted in positive gains in student engagement and attainment achieved through innovative processes and dissemination of good practice to staff through CPD channels and collaborative participation.

Heidi is a Lead Practitioner and has over 20 years teaching and managerial experience. Heidi is a key member of the Teaching and Learning Strategy group and has valuable and extensive experience in lesson planning, lesson observations and teaching and learning strategies. She is a coach, ITT mentor and currently leads highly successful CPD for both primary teachers (raising attainment at KS2 and effective transition from KS2 to KS3) and for secondary colleagues (effective assessment, student engagement and quality marking and feedback).
